I am a qualified teacher with over 15 years experience teaching across the primary phase.  I graduated from Sunderland University in 2006 where I specialised in early years and key stage 1.  My passion lies within the early years and for 10 years of my career I taught and managed the Early Years Foundation Stage setting.

In 2016, my son came along and I was fascinated by every stage of his development. I attended Tiny Tweeties as a first-time parent and fell in love with the warm, vibrant and engaging environment Rachael and Chris had lovingly created.  Seeing his face light up with the familiar sound of the welcome song; we knew we had found our happy place!

I love working with children and being part of their own unique learning journey.  I believe that music really can bring learning to life and can support children in their social interaction skills, language development as well as supporting both fine and gross motor skills.  I have always been passionate about working with parents and pride myself on the rapport I build with the families I work with.

Encouraging the special connections made between adults and children when they are engaged in high quality experiences will create lasting memories that will be treasured for years to come.
